Easy to book a weekend

Needed a quick weekend break and found a good deal. Booked a hotel in Nashville. It was all pretty straightforward on their site. No issues at all, felt pretty relaxed about the whole thing.

Good value, minor snag

I booked a family vacation package to Florida. The overall value was pretty good, especially with the bundle deal for flights and a resort stay. Everything was clear on the website and the booking confirmation came quickly. My only minor gripe was that the car rental pick-up instructions could have been a bit clearer; we had to ask around a bit at the airport. Otherwise, a solid experience and we had a great time.

Consistent service, reliable bookings

Another solid booking with Fantasy Travel. I've used them for a few European tour packages now, and they're always reliable. This time it was a trip to Italy, and everything went smoothly, just like my last one to France. The flight and hotel bundle was exactly as described.

Loved the Caribbean cruise!

Just got back from my Caribbean cruise deal and it was fantastic! The booking process was super easy and the itinerary was perfect. I'm already looking at their South American cultural trips for next year. Seriously, don't hesitate, you'll have an amazing time!

Are their prices generally competitive with like, Expedia or Travelocity? Or should I just stick to the bigger sites?

M Marcus P. 2 months ago
I found some really good deals on their site that weren't on Expedia, especially for specific tour packages. They often have different promotions going on.

Sometimes Fantasy Travel has better niche packages, like certain adventure tours, that you won't find bundled as well elsewhere. For just flights and hotels, sometimes bigger sites are comparable, but for full packages, FT can be great.

Does Fantasy Travel offer any kind of student discount? Hoping to save some cash on a spring break trip.

C Chris 2 months ago
Yes, they do sometimes! I got one for a group booking a few years back. Check their promotions page or ask when you're looking to book.

I think I saw a student discount mentioned on their site before. It's probably a percentage off certain trips, usually with an ID verification thing.

What's their cancellation policy like if something comes up? Worried about losing money if I have to back out of a trip.

R Renee Vargas 2 months ago
It really depends on the package you book. Some are more flexible than others, especially if you get the travel insurance they offer. Definitely worth looking into for peace of mind.

I had to cancel a weekend break once and got most of my money back because I had the insurance. Without it, you might lose more, especially closer to the travel date.

How long does it usually take to get all the documents and stuff after booking? Planning a last-minute trip.

G Gwen Nguyen 3 months ago
Most of it is online pretty quickly, like confirmation emails. If you need physical documents or visa help, that might take longer. I'd definitely reach out to their customer service if it's super last minute.

For my European tour, all the e-tickets and itinerary were sent right after booking. If you need visa assistance, that's a separate process so factor in extra time for that.

Hey, thinking of booking a Europe tour package for next summer. Are they pretty flexible with payment, like can I do a deposit then pay the rest later?

C Cody 3 months ago
Yeah, usually you can. I booked a Caribbean cruise with them a few months ago and only had to put down a partial payment initially. Just check the specific tour details though.

They take most major credit cards, I think, and bank transfers too. I paid with Visa for my last trip and it was fine.
